What is The Confidence To Rise Retreat?

You don’t need more advice… you need support, clarity, and a place to breathe.

Confidence to Rise is a small, in-person retreat for women who feel exhausted and overwhelmed, and who don’t know what to do anymore while loving someone who’s struggling with substance use.

You are not alone. You’ll be surrounded by other women who know exactly what you’re going through, no judgment, no fixing, just understanding, compassion, and connection.

When life feels chaotic and exhausting, this retreat offers a chance to slow down, settle your nervous system, and move from chaos to calm. This is not about fixing, forcing, or controlling change.

It’s about learning how to pause, respond instead of react, and rebuild confidence from a grounded, compassionate place.

Some of the tools and approaches we will be learning about include:

  • Motivational interviewing

  • Open ended questions

  • Responding instead of reacting

  • Listening for change talk

You can’t force change, but you can change how you show up…

When you build connection and lead with steadiness and love, you naturally become a more positive influence in your loved one’s life.

Love influences. Presence influences. Connection influences, because the opposite of addiction is connection.

Together, we explore practical, evidence-based tools that help you strengthen connection with your loved one and communicate with greater clarity and confidence. You’ll also walk away feeling supported as you practice these new tools in real-life situations.

You don’t have to have all the answers…

The retreats are about learning a different way: one that supports your wellbeing, builds connection, and allows confidence to rise again.
